MetaLabsAfrica are consistently seeing large international Brands start making huge moves in the Metaverse and particularly the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) space. We will list two massive examples below.

MetaLabsAfrica is here to educate and execute Metaverse and NFT projects successfully with Brands in South Africa. We have done the same with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality when it was early and unknown to most brands locally. We are aware the Metaverse and NFTs are early in South Africa and want to get Brands prepped for effective projects in this space where there are a lot of opportunities to engage with the brand’s community, offer rewards, competition and prestige amongst consumers.

Pepsi recently launched their NFT project with 1,893 NFTs to commemorate the year they began, 1893. These NFTs were sold out in seconds. See below for the campaign.

Nike just bought a virtual shoe company that makes NFTs and sneakers ‘for the metaverse’. RTFKT, The company Nike bought is the largest creator of virtual sneakers and collectables, merging realities in fashion and gaming.

Branded NFT’s offer passionate customers collectable virtual goods that generate brand engagement, unlock new experiences, foster a passionate community, add new revenue, and will be critical assets for upcoming virtual worlds.
